BBC Elections (NI 2022)

Led a team of 5 to deliver the 2022 NI elections, building on the work we achieved in the 2020/21 elections. A complete rebuild of the election results system to be fully serverless and scalable, while drastically reducing costs from £10k's to under £100.

BBC News

I worked on the rearchitecture and rebuild of the BBC News backend (AReS) to deliver as a Software Engineer. This system replaced a legacy system and delivered a news article that could have a more flexible content model, improved performance, and better scalability to meet the demands of a modern news service.
